Problem Solved
The asserted patent claimed a helmet incorporating multiple lighting elements, waterproof housing, and integrated electronic components positioned within specific regions of the helmet structure.
While several existing products demonstrated some of these features, identifying evidence of the complete claimed configuration proved challenging. Publicly available information was fragmented across forums, reviews, videos, and archived product references, with critical structural details often missing. Additionally, some of the most promising leads originated from discontinued products whose official information was no longer readily accessible.
Solutions Offered
To overcome these challenges, we expanded the search beyond conventional patent and product databases and investigated a wide range of publicly available technical sources.
By connecting information scattered across multiple platforms and tracing the development history of a key product, we uncovered detailed disclosures revealing the internal design, component placement, and structural configuration relevant to the asserted claims. These findings provided strong prior art evidence covering the critical claim limitations.
