In a highly deadly animal model, the medication candidate showed survival against SARS-COV-2 infection compared to the control group. In mice infected with the SARS-COV-2 virus, it also reduced lung and brain damage. The candidate is effective against the delta variant and has shown potent efficacy against various influenza strains in animal models.
