Daisy Lab, based in New Zealand, is developing novel methods to produce high-quality, dairy-identical proteins without the use of cows. The technology produces these proteins using microbes, which has the potential to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions as well as land and water use in an animal-friendly manner. Daisy Lab’s mission is to assist in addressing some of the most pressing issues confronting our planet, such as climate change and food insecurity.
