Vishesh got a chance to connect with some of the most influential people in the global IP space at IAM SEP Summit Asia 2026 in Hong Kong.
Overwhelmed, he reflected on how his journey at GreyB had quietly prepared him for moments like these, where confidence, clarity, and presence matter as much as knowledge itself.

Hi Everyone,
I’m writing this from – IAM SEP Summit Hong Kong. This opportunity landed on my desk one day, and the next, I was prepping demos for some of the most influential people in the global IP community.
As this is my first international summit, I’ll admit it was intimidating at first. But as the day went on, I realized something important about our culture at GreyB. When I joined, I noticed that GreyBians are obsessed with the basics: showing up early to meetings, dressing sharp, and that constant push to get RAs on client calls within their first six months. I followed along, but today I realized those weren’t just “rules” we were being silently trained for moments exactly like this.
These “small habits” took over, being one of the first one at the summit changed the energy. Dressing sharp and senior delegates complimenting your presence even before having an interaction, it feels good and builds a level of confidence that makes the actual conversation so much easier.
These interactions took me back to the “Make-a-thon” at our last PAM. Winning it was great, but the real value was the stage. Being pushed to command a room back then is exactly what killed my fear of speaking to a crowd of strangers here. And it reflected back to me, It’s exactly what we discussed in our recent Townhall: Growth only happens when you’re uncomfortable.
If I hadn’t been pushed out of my shell early on at GreyB, I would have hesitated. Instead, rather I’m actually enjoying it. I’m not just presenting here, but also listening to their problems, hearing stories, and having genuine interactions.
I’m sharing this because at GreyB, we’re being shaped into better versions of ourselves every day, even when we don’t feel it. The punctuality, the standards, and the pressure to step up are the foundation. So, don’t ignore the small habits or the tasks that make you nervous. They are prepping you for your own “Big Moment.” When that moment arrives out of the blue, you’ll realize you’ve been ready for it all along.
