Our Idea is a biotechnology startup based on the from nature-to-nature concept aiming to recycle tons of organic and food waste to various products to serve different industries . We produce fish food besides an organic fertilizer by the help of our Hero the Black Soldier Fly insect. This insect feeds on the waste and bio-converts it to protein for us to produce sustainable all natural products including, Fish and pet feed from the insects larvae, Organic fertilizers from it’s frass producing insect frass. Not only this but there are other 2 potential products which are chitin that’s used in cosmetics and agriculture . Finishing with our last potential product which is natural oil extracted from the insect larvae to serve as an alternative to fish oil (in feed production) and other pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.
