Gemcro creates and distributes genetically modified mice (GEM) through gene editing technology, with the goal of providing a new disease model animal platform and developing its own new drugs in the field of new drug development and efficacy evaluation. Yonsei University has been promoting laboratory-based model animal development and anti-cancer target discovery projects. For the first time in the world, genetically modified mice were created using genetic scissors in 2012.
