Problems Solved
The technology in question enabled transforming a still photo into a live image by controlling the direction of movement in specific areas. Despite finding several animations illustrating the claim on an Instagram page, we encountered challenges with two key steps: “Masking” and “Drawing Directions on the Still Photo.”
Moreover, limited blog content on the software used to create these animations made understanding the patent’s processes challenging.
Solution Offered
During the prior art search, we found the real identity of the software’s predecessor, leading to the earlier disclosures that predated the cut-off date.
A particularly valuable discovery was a YouTube video featuring the patented features released before the key date. Additionally, relevant Instagram reels added strength to our prior art findings.
